Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – In a meeting with members of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps. in Qom on Tuesday, senior Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani slammed President Donald Trump's al-Quds decision; "The issue of al-Quds is a major concern in the Islamic world, therefore, Muslims must take a strong stance against US Jerusalem move. The Muslim community must not let US president make decisions about al-Quds and Palestine."
The Shia source of emulation added, "The infanticide Zionist Regime is illegally occupying Palestinian territories and now, the US is trying to provide them with a capital, despite the fact that Israel does not have possession over any Palestinian lands. Palestine belongs to Palestinians and that's something all Muslims must be aware of."
Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani continued, "Islam has its own code of ethics and human rights principles. This code of ethics is present in our Human Rights Organization, such principles prove the fact that Islam has a say in different domains."
Highlighting the high position of martyrdom in Islamic traditions, the senior cleric asserted that martyrs, who sacrificed their life for Allah almighty and his religion, will surely have a high position in the Judgment Day; "Martyrdom is a special position that Allah almighty bestows upon unique people."
